Conrad, Much Ado About Nothing
Jake is excited and filled with gratitude to be working with the Oberon Theater Ensemble. He has previously been seen in Breadloaf Theater Ensemble's Arcadia (Gus/Augustus), Two Gentlemen of Verona (Proteus) at the Roanoke Theater Festival, Chip on Guiding Light and Demetrius in Hartford Stage's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Stage Manager, American RaptureJENNA LAZAR is delighted to be a part of this fabulous production. Jenna is a recent graduate of Cornell University. She has been involved in various productions in the past, both onstage and off. Recent productions include Hamlet and Richard III with the Frog and Peach Theatre Company, and Smokey Scout Productions' Confessions of a Plate and Shoe. Thanks to Alex and this fantastic cast. Diánna Martin
American Rapture - The Girl, Hello Out There
Most recently, Diánna played Deck in the acclaimed MTWorks' production of The Oath by Jacqueline Goldfinger. Other NY acting credits include A Thousand Variations on a Lie Told Once for Oberon (Rena); Before the Next Blue Norther (Violet),dir. Ernie Martin, Abingdon Theatre; Coyote on a Fence (Shawna). Regional: The Trial of God (Maria); The Dutchman (Lula). She has also worked with Oberon Theatre Ensemble as the Assistant Director & Stage Manager in Macbeth, in 2008, but is now the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for Oberon. After five years hosting, directing, and producing television and radio in St. Louis, she has returned to her hometown - following in the footsteps of her parents, Tony-Award winning actress Ann Wedgeworth and acting teacher/director Ernie Martin. Having acted/directed/coached on stage and independent film, Diánna has also taught acting to teenagers and adults at NYFA and the Ernie Martin Studio Theatre, and runs her own acting school, Martin Acting Studios. Kathleen McAllister
Costume DesignerKathleen McAllister is a graduate from the University of North Carolina School of The Arts, where she received her Masters in Costume Design May, 2008. This is her first design collaboration in New York, and she is very happy and excited to be working with Oberon. Past designs include: The Game of Love, A Month In The Country, Honk! A Musical Comedy, & Radamisto.
Linda S. Nelson
She has also appeared in film and video including Imaginary Heroes opposite Sigourney Weaver, Q and A with Nick Nolte, and is the voice and movement of Edna in the Video Game Bully. Ms. Nelson recently directed Missa Solemnis or The Play about Henry by Roman Feeser for DUTF (the Downtown Urban Theatre Festival) wich will also have a four week run opening this October. Ms. Nelson is a member of NJ Rep, TRU, CTI Alumni and is the founder of Shotgun Productions, Inc. Member AEA and SAG. Contact at LSNActs@cs.com.
